Dog Licenses

All dogs are required to have a license in Oakland County. Dog licenses are available for purchase at the regular rate from Oakland Township Hall through June 1, 2021. Please bring a current rabies vaccination certificate and proof of spay or neuter (if applicable). Beginning June 2nd, all expired dog licenses will be considered deliquent and the new cost for a 1-year license will be $33.00. Also following that date, a census team will be sent out by Oakland County into various communities to insure compliance. If you have any questions, please call (248)-651-4440. Controlled Burn on Paint Creek Trail

The Oakland Township Parks and Recreation Department will be conducting a controlled burn on the Paint Creek Trail between Silverbell and Dutton Roads. It will be conducted May 14th. We do controlled burns to stimulate native plant growth and keep invasive species growth down. Please call Township Hall at (248)-651-4440 for any questions or concerns.
