Prairie Restoration Brochure

This 120-acre park was generously donated to the Parks and Recreation Commission. Its rolling topography, wetlands, and farmland are located north of Predmore Road, between Rochester and Dequindre Roads.

The park is great for passive recreational activities, including cross country skiing, hiking, and horseback riding. Its mowed paths provide excellent routes for bird and wildlife observation, including hawks, wild turkey and white-tailed deer. USFWS Partner Prairie Restoration sites are in the 5-acre north-central field and the 13 acre eastern field. Call the park office at 248-651-7810 to volunteer to help maintain the prairie! Maximum six space and one horse trailer parking is available at the park entrance off Predmore Road.
