Cranberry Lake Park was purchased in 1996, with 22 additional acres purchased using Land Preservation millage funds in August 2003. Its 213 acres are located between Predmore Road and Romeo Road (32 Mile Road). It encompasses the western shoreline of Cranberry Lake. There is no lake access at this time.

The park boasts numerous hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails. Park users can park in the lot just west of the restored Flumerfelt barn or in the mowed lot at the north end of the park just south of 32 Mile Road. The north end of this park's trail system is connected to Addison Oaks County Park as part of a primary East-West Connector Pathway in the Township's Safety Path and Trail Network. View connector map here.

This is also the site of the Axford-Coffin Farm, a nationally recognized historic farmstead of ten structures dating back to the 1840s that has been rehabilitated with the Township's Historic District Commission for future public use. The Oakland Township Historical Society is currently leasing the buildings. The structures are open for viewing during scheduled tours or from the road.People on lawn enjoying concert at Cranberry Lake Farm 2014 Oakland Township Parks and Recreation Michigan
