PERMANENT BALLOT LIST REQUEST - click here for the form

Due to the passage of statewide ballot proposal 18-3 in November 2018, all eligible and registered voters in Michigan can request an absent voter ballot for any election without providing a reason.

With the resent passage of Proposal 22-2 in 2022, you are now able to sign up for the Permanent Ballot List.  This is a list that you choose to sign up for and then our office automatically sends you an absent voter ballot for all elections.  You will not longer have to fill out an Absent Voter Ballot Application for each election scheduled in Oakland Township.

Oakland Township Clerk’s Office will no longer maintain a Permanent Absent Voter List after 2024. So it will be your responsibility to contact us if you need your ballot mailed to a different address.

To be added to this list, just complete, sign and return the Permanent Ballot List Request form by any of the following:

  • Email: elections@oaklandtownship.org
  • Mail: Charter Township of Oakland, Attn: Elections, 4393 Collins Rd., Rochester, MI 48306
  • In person during normal office hours 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday, or place in the township drive-up drop box across from the front entrance at Township Hall or at Fire Station No.2.
