Oakland Township fire department is a combination department that consists of a
full time fire Chief, full time Assistant Chief, full time EMS coordinator, 9 full time Firefighter/Paramedics
and 15 “volunteer” paid on call personnel. The fire department has 2 stations
that are staffed with 1 full time firefighter paramedic 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The department responds to all 911 emergencies and also provides mutual aid to
surrounding communities. The paid on call play a key role in the success of the fire
department. These are dedicated men and women that respond to all emergencies.
They live in Oakland Township and take time away from their busy schedules to
serve our community.
